سلولهای سوختی میکروبی

چکیده

با توجه به اکوسیستم و تغییرات آب و هوایی، تحقیقات به سمت انرژی های تجدید پذیر بیشتر جلب شده است؛ سلول های سوختی میکروبی به عنوان یک راه حل برای مبارزه با اتکای صرف به سوختهای فسیلی و آلوده کننده ی محیط زیست، در یک مسیر بالقوه برای کاوش، جهت تولید برق به شمار می‌روند. محدودیت‌های موجود در زمینه ی پیشرفتMFCs  عبارت اند از: مواد الکترود گران قیمت، تولید کم برق، ناتوانی در توسعه ی آن در مقیاس صنعتی است. امروزه استفاده از مواد الکترود پیشرفته (نانو مواد) برای پیشبرد زمینه الکترومیکروبیولوژی وعده داده شده است. سلول های سوختی میکروبی یک دستگاه جدید با عملکرد خاص برای تولید انرژی و کاهش آلودگی های زیستی هستند، ویژگی ها و فعالیت کاتالیزوری باکتری های فعال الکتروشیمیایی آندی یکی از عوامل کلیدی بر عملکرد سلول های سوختی میکروبی است.
