ارتباط علمی، مروری بر اهمیت، تاریخچه، و مدل های آن

چکیده

موضوع این مقاله یکی از سخنرانی های ارائه شده در سمینار نیم روزه مسائل نشر کتاب علمی با عنوان "علم و جامعه، نقش دانشمندان در ارتباط علمی" است که در تیرماه سال 98 در فرهنگستان علوم برگزار شد. در این مقاله که شکل مبسوط تری از آن سخنرانی است به اهمیت موضوع ارتباط علمی بین دانشمندان و مردم و نقش آن در پیشرفت علم و جامعه پرداخته شده است. در یک نگاه به نظر می رسد که ارتباط علمی بین دانشمندان و مردم که طبق شواهد سنتی دیرین بوده است متاسفانه پا به پای پیشرفت و گسترش علوم سیر رو به رشد نداشته است و شاید بشود گفت با تخصصی شدن موضوع کار دانشمندان علوم این ارتباط اغلب تنگ و تنگ تر شده، و فاصله بین دانش و دانشمندان با عموم فراختر شده است. خوشبختانه به نظر می رسد در یکی دو دهه اخیر در سطح جهانی اهمیت موضوع بیش از پیش روشن تر شده است و گواه آن انتشار منابع علمی جدی دانشگاهی و منابع دیگر در این باب و رواج برنامه های متنوعی است که درتعدادی از کشورها و نیز برخی دانشگاهها به شکلی جدی در دوره ها و برنامه های درسی برای گسترش فهم علم در جامعه طرح و دنبال می شود. با توجه به پیشرفتهای بی وقفه و شگفت انگیز علم و نیز کاربردهای روزمره اش، امروزه بیش از هر زمانی ضرورت ارتباط علمی بین دانشمندان، سیاستمداران و سیاست گزاران برنامه های توسعه علمی و فنی و نیز عموم مردم آشکار شده است و بدون برقرای یک ارتباط علمی فراگیر در سطوح گوناکون، پیشرفت و توسعه جوامع بدون مشکل نخواهد بود. شکاف بین دانشمندان قلمروهای گوناگون و بین اینها و مدیران و سیاستگزاران جامعه و نیز عموم مردم نه تنها مانعی برای توسعه علم بلکه مانعی برای پیشرفت و توسعه پایدار جوامع به شمار می رود. در این مقاله ضمن مروری بر سابقه و نقش ارتباط بین دانشمندان و جامعه در دوران باستان، پس از وقوع "انقلاب علمی" و در دوران حاضر، دیدگاه ها و راهکارهای برقراری این نوع ارتباط خلاصه شده است.
